About

Dr. Dean Cartwright, B.Sc., D.C.

I was born and raised in nearby small town Clinton, and was first introduced to chiropractic in high school to deal with chronic leg pains.  The results were amazing and I always looked forward to my adjustments.  After high school, I attended the University of Waterloo to study Honours Chemistry, but soon came to realize that chemistry was too solitary.  I enjoyed chemistry, but not working in a lab by myself.  I wanted to work with people.  Even more so, I wanted to work helping people.  I always admired how people were leaving my chiropractor happy and energized.  After much soul searching, I shifted my focus at university from chemistry to trying to become a chiropractor.  I graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989 and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1993, Cum Laude and with Clinic Honours, as a Doctor of Chiropractic.  After a year working alongside another chiropractor in Toronto to gain more experience, I opened Cartwright Chiropractic in Mitchell in 1994 and have never looked back. I have so many amazing patients that make me love going to work.
